Prob has a lot to do that the GameDay show was the lead in. Most people prob didn't change their channel once ESPN GameDay ended since there were no real games of value on. Also, the game lasted 4 freaking hours due to a flag on every damn play. One of the most painful games I've ever watched.
Either way, I like the early time. Got a long run in, gametime, and still had the rest of the day to go play a round of golf.

If I have to choose between watching GameDay to the bitter end or sticking needles in my eyes and ears, I'll take the needles.
