LSU vs Ritter w/link

The ratio of LSU being flagged more times than their opponent vs. less times vs. even is 24-12-6. The same ratio but for penalty yardage is 26-14-2. [My comment: being flagged more in certain game, no big deal. But a 62% trend over 42 games? That's potentially impressive]
The average SEC team was penalized 1.4 more yards than their opponent. Meanwhile, LSU was flagged for 15.9 more penalty yards than their opponents
The average SEC referee flags LSU 6.86 times for 56.6 yards (an average of 15.51 more yards than their opponents). Tom Ritter, who has refereed more LSU games than the rest of the SEC officials (7 times), has averaged penalizing LSU 10.14 times for 81.7 yards (an average of 38 more penalty yards than their opponents). "Nearly a third of LSU's penalty margin comes from the games Ritter officiates."

I think the Tigers are capable of that, as I believe any team can beat beaten on any given day, however, I think what is lost in this Ritter talk, are the penalties that effect a situation.
For example, Third and 12 with BAMA driving the defense makes a stop, then all of a sudden there is a flag out of nowhere on a questionable call at best. It's those drive sustaining questionable calls that are so frustrating, and it seems to most Tiger fans that LSU is on the receiving end of those types of calls more than normal.
