I would really enjoy seeing LSU kill Boise St in the Sugar Bowl. What type of scenario would be needed for the this to happen?

If auburn is dismissed we a) play Oregon in the bcs championship or b) play Boise in the sugar

It's unlikely, IMO. First, if the Rose Bowl loses a team to the BCSNCG, they have to select a non-AQ school to replace them the next available chance they get. Second, there's no guarantee that Boise will get a BCS bowl game if TCU finishes ahead of them in the standings because the BCS only needs to take 1 non-AQ school. Thrid, the Sugar Bowl has had 2 non-AQ schools (Hawaii and Utah) plus Cincinnati in the past 3 years, and they have the first at-large pick this year. They're likely to pick a BCS school this year. Fourth, LSU has to win out, and hope the East team doesn't win the SECCG.

We have to win the next three games, that is all we can control and nothing else matters if we don't do that!!!! Let's just relax and let things work out for themselves!

Boise's OB is far better than most - I only want this game if it is for the NC

I think if LSU wins out and Auburn wins out, the Tigers will play Boise State in the Sugar. The Rose is obligated for the first time to take the highest rated non-automatic qualifier which would be TCU. That would leave Boise State to be chosen for a match up w/ LSU in New Orleans.

Why does anyone think LSU would "kill" anyone, much less Boise St? LSU hasn't "killed" anyone yet, not even McNeese St. or Vandy.

True! BUT, LSU hasn't shown yet that they can carve anyone up...including McNeese..

If we play BOISE in the Sugar, we better bring our A game to win...

frick boise st. I hope we play them in the sugar bowl. Kellen moore wont do a damn thing against PP and Tyrann-a-saurus. Nevis would absolutely eat that fool alive. It doesnt seem like very long ago the media was beating up on SEC teams for scheduling "cupcake" out of conference games. Now they are slobbering all over 2 teams who entire schedule is made up of cupcake teams.

This what erks me to no end with ESPN and their love affair with Boise and TCU. They only play 2 teams at most a year with BCS schools and ESPN wants them put ahead of all the teams in BCS Conferences. If they want to be in the same level with the SEC, Big-12, Big-10+1 and the Pac-10 then let them get into A Conference that is BCS rated and then I will give them their due if they can run the table.

To me the first thing I see is they do not have that many injuries a year and that tells me the competition they play against is not very strong and then they score 30+ points in the 1st quarter of every game in their Conference. If LSU played that kind of schedule what do you think they say about LSU. Hell they even put down on us now for the 2 games a year we play in-state games. ESPN is trying their best to control what happens by pushing the teams they want and it is clear that they do not want an SEC team in the BCS NCG.

Boise St. May not be able to help who their conference games are against, but they can control their OOC schedule. So they scheduled and beat VT, great. Why couldn't they schedule a couple of other BCS teams this year? Until they take it upon themselves to schedule a few teams a year from the major conferences, it's their own fault if they don't get the respect they are after.

its not always as easy. most bcs teams arent as willing as you to jump at a shot to play boise. try watching them for once instead of imediately retreating to your sec snuggie. i wouldnt make this argument most years, but this year, they are really good.

I would LOVE this. And the BCS would owe us one if we destroyed them.
