Brando said earlier this week CBS was trying to strike a deal with ESPN to have a 2nd primetime game this year. I think ESPN would get a prime game next year in exchange.

As I understand it:
ESPN allows CBS to air the Bama game at night
ESPN gets a single preseason 1st pick that would supercede the CBS one.
So odds are Bama next year would be a night game if the deal goes through.
