On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being Dash Right 93 Berlin against Kentucky, and 10 being the worst fricking decision to ever be decided upon, how bad of an idea was it to kick into the windfor a, what, 63 yard FG against Arky?

Yea I'm living in the past. I'm drunk and a couple of us were talking about the worst call wev'e seen in a while and MOTHERfrickIN POOF, thsi jcame to mind!

solid 8 IMO FWIW PIIHB prayers sent

Josh Booty could have gone UAB on us and it would have been a better call than the FG.

The playcalling the 3 plays leading up to that field goal were worse than the call to kick it there in itself. All we really needed was 10 or 15 yards, and we got nothing.

Good call Boat and I agree with you.

I would say a 8 or 9. But what was even worse was leaving Hawkins in man to man Coverage instead of putting a saftey or playing zone to protect the over the top throw from Dick.

I thought it was a pretty awesome decision

Let's put it this way...our section started calling the hogs before he even kicked the ball. We knew there was no way in hell he would make it.

DIdn't LSU have 3 timeouts to use and used none on that "drive?"

That whole drive was stupid but if we win that game do we kick the crap out of Ga Tech?

rahim alem kicking the football after stopping arkansas on 3rd down was the worst decision of that game by far.

agree along with the personal foul or holding penalty just before that. Game would have been over and the coaches would not be getting bashed by people who do not know what the frick they are talking about

Maybe you don't even play GT (maybe you do, I don't remember the exact scenario).

If the chosen one for this season could have completed one maybe two passes it would not have been 63 yrds... he only completed 4 for the whole second half, so I suppose it was asking too much.
A first down or 2 and the field goal is very makeable and those 8's and 9's Im seeing go down to 2-3-4's.
Just saying.

Even though Ole Miss beat us, we could have ended up in the Cotton Bowl if we beat Arkansas and got our arse handed to us by Texas Tech.

So you hate to lose a game, but it probably worked out for the best that we ended up in the Chick-fil-a Bowl so we could end the year on a great note.

I think that streak of him kicking arse in bowl games would have ended in the Cotton Bowl last season. So luckily for him we ended up playing Georgia Tech who ran an offense our pitiful defense could actually defend.

I thought the same thing until I saw the way that Ole Miss handled Tech. Harrell had a horrible day throwing the ball and the ground game that worked so well against Texas was non-existant. I think the Tigers would've won the game if they played anywhere near the level of their performance in the Chicken Bowl.

The defense was so good against Georgia Tech because they don't throw the ball very much. Our secondary was the worst part of the D last year. Texas Tech passing on every down would have murdered us.
