I am....concerned....about the persistent rumors that LSU's season opening game at the Rose Bowl next year may be moved to Vegas. I may....not react well to an announcement about this this afternoon.

I assume this guy has a source but has anyone else heard this? Would be cool to go to Vegas but I really wanted to go to the Rose Bowl.

That stadium is sick though.

Gosh, LSU fans in Vegas. What a week that would be.

ETA: I would be upset because I’ve had the Rose Bowl UCLA game marked for a while as one I wanted to go to for sure. But this would be an interesting consolation prize.

Man that would be a bummer. I’ve always wanted to see the tigers play in the rose bowl.

Especially after a year with no football tailgating

No, almost none of us have. That’s why we want to go.

I was planning to do the Napa Valley/Pacific Coast Highway thing, but count me in for Vegas. We had to cancel our plans for the Saints-Raiders game last September. We can go to California another time.

While Vegas would be fantastic, what is concerning about this is that they call it good with a one off neutral site game and scrap the home game with UCLA in 2024. Then that gets replaced with Towson.

I'm thinking that this would clear the way to play Texas at home in 2024.

If this happens, you could be right.

It's 2024 or never for the Texas game.

Its cool, but frick I want these games played in college stadiums rather than neutral sites.

Just like wanting to play in Camp Randall instead of Lambeau.

Ideally I'd like both, but playing these teams is a once in a 30 year or more thing.

That makes too much sense. Therefore, no chance.

Texas has Michigan that year though. Don’t know if they’d go two power 5s in one year.

Towson might be a better team than UCLA.
