Atlanta news station reported that GA Tech has accepted a bid to the Peach Bowl. Not official but they did mention that something more official could be forthcoming tomorrow.

i talked to a few friends on the team and they said they had a meeting this morning to find out they were going to the peach bowl

Band member just texted me that Linda(director) said they are going Peach bowl. My guess is that it is true. When I was in the Band they always told us about where we were going before so I figure its solid.

thats not true. the directors did not say lsu was going for sure. they said the way things were looking now, the university is making travel plans as if we were going to atlanta. and at the bball game he didnt announce it for sure, he told the band that if lsu goes to the chic-fil-a bowl then the band has to play a pep rally at chic-fil-a on dec.20th....maybe you should have eavesdropped a little harder

My friend who is on the team told me that since SC lost they were told that they are a lock for the peach bowl in a meeting this morning.

well my roommate who is on the team told me just now that miles said they are probably going to the peach bowl but nothing was certain.

I asked my friend if it was a lock when he told me and he told me yes but i had a hard time believing that it was a def lock. Hes a redshirt so who knows.

FWIW after the 2006 season Les told a few people a couple hours before the official announcement we were going to the Rose

Yeah, but that might have been misinformation. There was some last minute jockeying to get the "traditional" Rose Bowl matchup between USC and Michigan. The Rose Bowl would have that game 100 times in a row if those teams are eligible.
This year is a little different. It's Ga Tech, and either LSU or USCe. The Chick-fil-A people like LSU, and had a good experience the last time they had that matchup. I would say that it's probably 95% right now.
