Will take it

We may be the SEC team that ends up giving ND "legitimacy" when they hold us to 13 points.

Does anybody know on this new format. Does The SEC just tell you where to go without any input from the team , AD etc. because if this has happenend once again over Alleva, then I must say that Alleva is the absolute worse AD that LSU has ever had . Hell we done proved we cant play in cold weather. What a disaster possibley awaiting.

Someone please explain to me why playing a bowl game is so huge to recruiting. Why is it so vital that LSU play in Houston to help recruiting so much?

Overrated, in my book. Recruits do consider a lot of things when deciding on a school, but which bowl we played in (besides the big ones) isn't high on the list.

It is in Nashville, in the day, 2 pm usually snowing or some shite weather, no one will be watching and they usually have about 30k people there. I think Vandy has been a bunch lately. Zero TV ratings, no one will give a shite. Maybe see score on Sports center. Best way SEC could frick us and know we wouldn't bitch much as it is Notre Dame. (Big fricking deal) Saban and Mark Womack win again. Helps us none.

We didn't get screwed. It's a very sexy matchup all things considered.

I just personally wanted primetime In a dome against Texas.

Nobody would have been watching the Texas Bowl. It's a fun matchup in a new city for people who want to actually go to the game.

SEC didn't "screw us"

Schools and bowls both submit a preference list. The SEC decides where the teams go. The talk was that LSU didn't want Music City unless the opponent was Notre Dame.

I mean...why is it so important to recruiting in Texas that we play in the Texas Bowl? I don't get the connection.

Count me in the crowd that would be watching the Texas Bowl but won't watch this one. Some people started work in Sept and don't have vacation days accrued yet.

Yes. Playing ND at least gives me something to watch. Their pass offense against our pass defense and our run offense against their terrible run defense.
