Fargas gets another year for having nice legs and actually improving this year. JJ isn't recruiting or coaching well now. His reputation was permanently shattered after last year

Shaver is staying.

The ladies soccer coach may be the worst of all from what I heard. Poor coaching and personality.

From where it was to where it is today, it's not even the same program," Auriemma said. "I don't know all the reasons why, but when that happens it takes awhile to get that back and it's gonna take a lot of good players. Right now they don't have enough of them."

Yup. It's hard to remember now. but JJ actually had the program trending upward (it was in shambles when he got it, so it isn't that hard to believe). It seemed like his ceiling was probably reaching the tournament as a lower seed, but even that was a huge improvement over the Trent Johnson years. But having the undisputed number one prospect (plus a few other top 100 players) and failing to be competitive permanently damaged his reputation and his psyche I believe. This team hasn't looked closed to the same since the seconds half of last season. It's time to pull the plug on JJ.
