I don't know what the betting line is on this game. Perhaps LSU by a touchdown.

I predict that the line will tighten as the game gets closer, and many football pundits will be picking TCU for the upset.

As for the game, I predict a strong offensive performance by the Tigers, with the defense struggling somewhat in the first half before shutting down the Horny Frogs by the second half.

LSU 35 - TCU 17

Then, AFTER THE GAME, I predict that the same football talking heads who were calling for a TCU upset, will say that TCU really wasn't that good afterall, and not give any credit to "the Mad Hatter" or to the Tigers.

It's not that I think "everybody hates LSU", it's just that I've seen this happen time and time again. I'm prepared to eat crow if this prediction doesn't come true. (The score may be slightly off, but the same effective game outcome).

Are you really willing to make this kind of wager? I mean, if I'm not mistaken, Les Miles is still our coach and 65% of the games are a lot closer than they should be.

TCU will get a garbage TD late fourth when the chief has in some young guys to get real in game experience.

TCU QB was suspended almost all of lady year, they suspended their top CB, and one of their lineman quit this week.

I'm sure none of these excuses will be used.

LSU clears 40 points and I'm buying champagne. It'll be a helluva season.

I'm gonna say 31-10.

No way Tigers score 40, as some predict, on the TCU defense...Tigers will win by 9 to 13 points...24-13 perhaps

Considing how our guys tend to play down I say it is a real possibility that we can get beat by TCU...it will not be a run away game by the Tigers... here's to hoping I am wrong!
