They lost the game trying to pass so much. Sims was off most of the night.
Bama needed to use the tight end more and run the ball with Henry more than they did.

you mean reaching for the FACT that miles has had a 10 year run almost unequaled in sec history while coaching in the most competitive conference ever?

who's reaching?

That was the Kiffin effect under pressure.

Meyer tried to catch Bama with their pants down on that bomb. Almost worked. That's something you'd never get out of Miles.

Bama put up 35 points. Kiffin called the perfect killshot and Sims threw a terrible pass

saban/kirby were teh issues last night

The real point is that OSU talent much inferior to Bama talent at least if you believe in counting "stars". And just looking at the field the OSU Dline was much much smaller than Bama's Oline. So how does OSU win? Better coaching. It seemed to me that Bama could have just run D Henry all night and won by a mile but Kiffen likes to be creative. And maybe if Bama's not passing then OSU could stack the box like teams do vs LSU because they know we cant throw (or is it that we cant catch?) and rank 114th in Passing Offense according to NCAA LINK
Another point is that LSU has had better recruiting class ranks than ND but ND seemed to be better coached or better prepared team. You can say LSU was playing in an afterthought bowl that nobody cared about but so was ND and their coaches had them ready to play. So players matter but I think coaching matters more. Having said that its great to see Bama lose despite all their "advantages"

Beefense. Miles's days are numbered.

And in the end, you will be proven a fool.

Saban the defensive back guru has had a shitty secondary for two years in a row with all those 5 stars.

Wow, where have I heard that before? You could substitute that statement with this:

LSU needed to use the tight end more and run the ball with Fournette more than they did.

Hey, Ezekiel got his carries last night and it paid off.

Ohio State out playded Bama. I would've have been sick if I were a fan for them to let Bama slide back in like that.

Probably but that's really not a reason to not have been enjoying LSU's run over the last 10 years considering he is probably the best ever.

Les is a lot like Charlie Mac. A good ole boy that will always play second fiddle to Bama.

Who hasn't enjoyed our success?

Why is it deemed negative to want more?

Isn't their things about our team that need improvement?

everybody has been playing second fiddle to Bama recently

LSU has actually been one of the few teams that consistently plays Bama tough

You still cannot just get that fancy with the playcalling with Sims out there. The more you rely on him, the worse he looks.

its not negative

its kinda annoying how some of tRant just casually tosses aside Les's accomplishments though everytime LSU loses a game or has a bad season and acts like he hasn't earned the opportunity to make improvements

LSU has consistently blown the last 4 games to Bama. Two at home in which they should have won. Thus, making the Bama dynasty not a dynasty.
