Since this is political let’s all agree to post kneeling threads on the political board where they belong. I read so much how we want politics out of sports let’s start here by posting these on the political board. Makes sense to me.

The funny part is they think it’ll make a difference, I guess. No one gives a shite if the LSU women’s soccer team sits, stands, kneels or pisses during the anthem.

clearly people give a shite or this thread wouldn’t exist and have 3 pages

many of the players I saw kneeling hail from other countries. Four from England, one each from Ghana, Sweden, Iceland, and one from New York. It's an international team.

That’s what I don’t get. The head coach and several assistants are foreigners, but they kneel for our anthem? They should appreciate the fact of what our country stands for more than most Americans who may take it for granted.
I agree that the subject is old and the soccer team is just following Rapinoe’s lead. But for a sport in the South that is trying to get a toe hold and grow, having foreigners kneel for our anthem is not a good look.

It’s ok for some to do this so I can’t imagine there should be any issue with all doing it right ?

That is my point. NOw I don't personally live or believe that is good but the left does it, so why not fight fire with fire.

It is their right and its my right to think they are wrong and losers see how it works!! Just like I have the right to call you a Fat dipshit but that does not make it right.

Sadly, their philosophy is in direct conflict with freedom of speech and the Bill of Rights. They are activity working to give up their rights and they don't even realize it.

What I take issue with are the coaches. They are paid by the university and represent the university. Leave politics out of it.

What do you expect when the head coach and 2 of the assistants are from Europe; one assistant is from Ohio; and the strength coaches are from Europe!

I see you don't know but kneeling during anthem is a sign of respect for the fallen soldiers, it's just politicized for the wrong reason,it is not disrespectful, stop watching FOX and actually speak to a soldier and learn

Im not saying i agree with it but is it really worth bringing up anymore? If most of the veterans i see say it doesn’t bother them then it damn well dont bother me.To each his own and let
It be its old. Plus im not ganna be a hypocrite like 95% of ppl who bitch about it while sitting on their asses at home while the anthem is playing.

If most of the veterans you are hanging around say it doesn't bother them then you are hanging around veterans that probably didn't make it past bootcamp.

Is there video of this? This type thing happens when you have counts on the US national soccer team. For the past 15 years girl soccer players have idolized the horrible women on this team.

Nothing will happen to these coaches and players unless corporate sponsors speak up and that wonmt happen.

Based on this logic you shouldn’t love kids after they make bad decisions. This is such a bad take.

Thanks for letting me know, now I won't be taking my daughters to those games. I don't want them looking up to women like that.
