Welp, if you are gonna run with the big dogs, you will inevitably lose some top players to the draft. best of luck to him in his career.....

Sure that's the right guy? MLB says he's from UCF.

How can teams like Louisville, Vanderbilt, Florida and some others always seem to get these type of pitchers to come play college ball?

Wasn't Logan Shore a 3rd round pick out of high school? There is usually 1-2 highly drafted guys that end up on a college campus.

Pearson was taken 28th overall. Your talking a couple million dollar difference between 28th overall and a 3rd rnd pick.

He's not exactly "young" in terms of prospects, he's 21 years old. He's going to toil in the minors for a few years, so absolutely foregoing a year more in college is the right call. Plus he's going to get those 1st round millions.

Idk it just seems like them teams always have a pitching staff full of 95-98 mph gun slingers.

Vandy can because they offer financial aid that can get kids a free ride and a vabdy degree is a huge selling point for if baseball doesn't work out

All LSU really needs is the Poches and Walkers of the world. Specifically the Walkers of the world but Poche is on the cusp of winning the most games in LSU history so he's not too shabby either. Then we'll get the occasional Nola, Lange, and Hess as well.

I hear you though it would be nice to get lucky on 3 or 4 of these in one year.
