All staff members that are not allowed on-the-field coaching, such as analysts/scouts/etc:
Austin Thomas
Matt Tomsho
Dave Bucar
Greg McMahon
Brian Squeglia
"The Prince"
Steve Kragthorpe?
Any more I'm missing? I figure McMahon is just on standby as the ST coach until the NCAA approves the 10th assistant in April. We need the team of scouts like this breaking down video and finding tendencies and play signals like Alabama and New England.

I am not a fan of this shadow staff trend. However, since everyone seems to be doing it I hope ours dominates.

Just curious, what are your concerns?

They can break down film and pick up tendencies of opponents... only downside I see is maybe a slight increase of violations

Saban is a master of this. His shadow staff has a profile on so many players and their tendencies. I'm all for it.

Austin does recruit.
Jenkins stays off the road instead.
My guess is you can add Hugh Freeze at some point once the NCAA lowers the boom!

I also see Brian Squeglia on lsusports.net. Listed as Lead Player Personnel Analyst. Wasn't that Justin Vincent's spot? What happened to Vincent? Squegs must be part of our recruiting shadow staff.

I think he was just through the bowl game and then retired. McMahon is now in his spot.
