In all of LSUs SEC wins this season except for Tennessee they have won by double digits, does this show how bad the SEC is this year or just our dominance?

A little of both. The conference does have some nice wins, Oklahoma, Texas to name a few. At the same time we have some bad losses as well.

average margin of victory is around 17 pts. even if the conference isn't very good that is pretty impressive

if we were just squeaking out wins I could see dismissing us as a top 25 team, but thats not the case. I say that though as if polls mean a damn thing in CBB anyway

For me, if we could have pulled out the Xavier win, we would be ranked with what we have done. I think even at 2-2 with xavier, wash st, am, and utah would have given us a little more credibility, nationally.

I am just worried that with how well we have played, we are only an injury away from being out of the picture completely.

I am in Big Ten country and I compare what the Minnesota Gophers#19-21?) have done in relation to what LSU has done and I am convinced that we are mirror images of each other with the exception of the Gophs beating a tired Louisville team a month or so ago.

They also have wins over the following overrated big 10 teams: OSU, Wisc, and Illini imo.

yea if we werent winning by double digits then id say we have no reason at all to talk about being top 25. I do think we need a wins over uk and uf to be considered completely legit on the national stage. Both of those aren't great teams right now but imo they are the next best in the conf to us. So we need to beat them.

Yeah Hardwood, don't get me wrong I'm pretty pleased with how the season is going but I'm not one of those who was pleased with just "playing hard" against Xavier.

Effort should never be an issue and we did not play as well as we could have in a good environment for hoops.

I think the lack of quality competition in our OOC may have something to do with our not being able to play better in that second half but that's a game we could've won had we played more capably in the second half, and it really could've helped us alot.

We are about to find out just how good this team really is. The UThug road win was HUGE, but road games at Moo State, KY and the home game vs. Florida are really gonna test our damn strong basketball team.

While the SEC is down, we are definitely on top of the league right now.

lil bit of both, but mostly dominance. no one else in the conference is winning this way at all, and in 5 of 6 double digit wins,(excl. arkansas) The tiger starters sat for the last 6 or 7 minutes to make it a lil closer
