Football is a measure of performance not potential.
Chubb had a better Freshmen Year gained 500 yards more
than LF7 and LSU lost 2 more games than UGA.
College career advantage Chubb.

Wrong.

Maybe, but I doubt it.

I'm sorry Jeremy Hill didn't break 1,000 yards his freshman season.

he only had real meaningful PT in EIGHT games in 2012
he had 1 and 2 carries vs towson and florida

let's get the facts straight, hill wasn't the starter until the SEVENTH game of 2012

Like I said, it's been one year. For all you know, Chubb could have a sophomore slump next year.

Correct thats why it is about performance and not potential ?
1st Year Advantage Chubb.

Hill's body of work is 3+ years beyond LF7 or Chubb,
as such easier to evaluate.

Chubb UGA a career could be a crap shoot, new OC, OL coach at UGA
could change his number of carries and overall use.

Miles won't use LF enough.

Only if LF gets hurt. The guy is a freak of nature between speed, size, moves, and strength all in one. If he stays healthy and Miles (this is the part I doubt happens) uses him enough, LF will be amazing.

Miles will give LF more carries, what Miles won't give LF are worn out knees and a shortened NFL career.

He'll give him more carries than this season, but not enough. I'm not saying wear the guy out, but Miles won't give him enough carries.

what did he run?

10.69 @229#

They're both good backs. Both strong, both fast. If you can't look at Chubb and tell he's a better back right now there's no convincing you otherwise (not you in particular, just anyone)

Could Fournette become better? Absolutely, but right now he isnt. And as you see saying LF7 is bigger and faster is also a myth. Fournette is taller. Chubb is a bowling ball. They can both fly. Chubb has better vision and breaks tackles more consistently, though I think his vision helps that. Chubb avoids contact and breaks the tackle when it happens, fournette initiates contact and often punishes the defender but gets tackled in the process. That's the differnce right now, but that difference can decide rather a run goes for 4 yards or 70

They'll both be in the discussion preseason, from there it will depend on both personal and team performance.

True. He would need to return several kicks for touchdown and average a 100 yard a game with those 11 carries.
