USC is over-rated. No way that either we or 'Bama let Syracuse score 29 points. The national media has a perpetual stiffy for the Trojans - no pun intended.

So USC's win over Hawaii was enough for them to stay ahead of us, but our win over Washington and their lackluster performance against lowly Syracuse wasn't enough?



You don't understand the west coast media's strength of schedule formula. Conference games don't count, only OOC away games matter. So since USC played Syracuse, a team Northwestern beat, in New York, that game is tougher than USC playing LSU or Alabama in LA.
