The AP poll doesn't count for anything...the only reason it is still out is because the media promotes it (which is who makes it)...it's not even worth discussing.
Additionally, the position of us vs anyone is pointless until December. We take care of business, we are in the title game. We don't and we aren't.

BAMA vs LSU will again determine who goes to the NC. Now many of us wonder will it be a repeat NC BAMA vs. LSU if WE win the regular season game?
The new Playoff system doesn't kick in till 2014.
Saban will always get more votes than Miles, because he is a more respected coach. So, if we are better and I think "we are" but it close. Saban will get the nod over Miles.

Second that notion...I would love to see the Huskies trample the Trojans. The loss still wouldn't kill ESPN's love affair with them though.

Another propped up program that does not deserve the ranking. Close game, at home, against a unranked team does not deserve a inceased ranking.
