I'm beginning to think you must be one of Conner Baldridge's buddies or a fraternity brother.

Devils Advocate question: What if Hill just grazed him and did no harm??? It was stated by those who saw the tape that the victim went down after the second guy hammered him... Then his only crime was intent which is not a crime.
a friend of mine hit this guy at a parade once (the guy was drunk and knocked his kid to the ground over beads) when he hit the guy he said he barely connected and the guy hit the ground mostly because he was drunk.....well when the guy hit the ground a bunch of people(who my friend didn't even know)started kicking the shite out of him.....well my friend was arrested and charged with aggregated battery, when he barely landed a clean punch........messed up part the da was going to reduce it to simple battery which was a misdemeanor and his lawyer talked him into fighting it....well he was found guilty ,,,,had to pay med bills and loss of work to the guy ,but the worst was since he was guilty of a felony he couldn't hunt for two years....

Indeed they do. And if you are dumb enough to bait someone bigger and stronger than you are, you should be willing to accept those consequences..

Both will. Hill and the guy he hit.

Has anyone seen the video? I was under the impression it was pretty damning for Hill, that's why it's being suppressed.

Suppressed? I hadn't heard that. Tell us what you know.

Just heard it wasn't going to be good if it got out. Video much better than JJs, very conclusive.

Not going to happen. Just read who his attorney is, he's in good hands.

If the guy touched his kid at all, I have a hard time believing the dad was the one who was found guilty.

well from what I heard the way it happened the guy bumped into his kid and knocked him over......the guy was kicked and hit enough to where he had to go to the hospital......the DA was going to reduce it to a misdemeanor as long as he paid the guys ER bill and missed work which was 5 k. .....when it was all said and done he kept the felony charge and paid out something like 8k.....the point is he was charged even though he barely hit the guy......now in hills case there was a second arrest so that may change things......

Anyway, I don't mean to be ripping on Hill - I don't know if he is really a bad apple or not - but the hitting the guy from behind part is troubling to me, especially when it is hard to imagine a guy like Hill having any trouble facing up to most anyone.

THANK YOU! Idiots on here with all the "thats how we did it in the day", "where are all the men", "happens every day in colleges everywhere".

Understood, we were all tough once and some of us squared off more than others...but we squared off!

In the toughest of circles of the "real men" you speak of, no matter what, the fight was done and the attacker was turned on when he was pussy enough to strike from behind! And THOSE instances are when cops stepped in and clicked the cuffs. Yes, back in the day it was different and less law involved, but you were looked down on as a pussy if you didn't square off with someone rather than sucker punch him from behind.

So enough with the geeks on here. All you badasses who really have had your share of fights, what did you think about someone acting tough by suckering someone while he wasn't defending himself?

I think it's pathetic and speaks of character of the person who does this....as ironic as it is to judge character of a fighter in a bar who is on probation and reduced charges for a sex crime.

BTW, on the legal front, a person close to me is a criminal defense attorney specializing in sex crimes. SHes had her share of clients who have gone back to see judges for additional charges....there is simply no telling what the judge will do, could be very minor in this situation or if something unknown to the Rant is presented, it could get ugly.

Guy could also go after the attackers civilly knowing J Hill will get paid one day.

Yup, im sure. Im sure people that are true molesters and sex offenders get the shaft when they screw up on probation, but when the judge actually looks at this case, he'll realize that it's really not that big of a deal.
