Guarantee you he'll throw for more than JJ ever did. Not hard to do, but still............

Proud of this kid. We watched him mature as a football player, a leader, and a man during his time here.

All the best for Zach.

WTF does that mean?

If Mett throws for 550 yards that would be bad.

Jones is way too low on your list IMO.

Did you just ignore how I started that list?

Are the lists based on ability? If so Mett is probably top 3 behind Russell and Bert Jones. But in terms of LSU historical significance, he'd be behind many other QB's. You have to define the parameters of the lists.

Zach's career will be overshadowed by a heartbreaking loss to Bama in '12 and a decent team showing in '13. In my opinion he is a really good QB who won't have the legacy he should when he leaves LSU. One of the best we have seen in P&G, really unfortunate we didn't get him for 4 years.

Tittle
Russell
Davey
Jones
Hodson

In no particular order.

But Mettenberger is probably 6th.

Ensminger way better college QB than Woodley. Woodley had a pro career, Ensminger didn't.

He only needs 426 yards to have the most passing yards in a single season, in LSU history. He's already sitting 3rd all time in that category.

Has Mauck beat by 4 yards.

Yea I'm younger than most here but I think

Russell
Hodson
Tittle
Jones

Are a clear cut top 4. I'd have Davey and Mett neck and neck for 5/6.

Also, Mett is just better than Mauck and Flynn. DWI

There is no planet on which Mauck is a better quarterback than Mettenberger.

Top 5 all-time LSU QB
and here we go.

Not sure why it's even worth discussing. He'll finish with either the most yards in LSU history for a single season, or second most. He'll probably finish the regular season with around 3,200 yds and 24, 25 TDs
