LSU projected 11 seed vs VCU projected 6th seed

That would put us in a 2nd round showdown against Notre Dame if they win, but if we were to win that we'd have a very favorable bracket leading us to possibly meet up with Kentucky in the final 4. These are the latest projections .
sadly VCU isn't a slouch and they arguably have one of the best coaches in the country. Also they can match our Athleticism.

Would love to play VCU. They're missing one of their stars. They've looked impressive in their tournament though.

I hope LSU gets in but I'm preparing for the worst. Many bubble teams have been left out with far better resume's than LSU. Hope they get in. Won't surprise me if they don't.

These projections mean nothing. However, VCU and Notre Dame would be dream matchups for LSU. Both like to play uptempo and would allow LSU to run.
The worst thing for this team is to make them play a half court game and force them to execute any semblance of an organized offense.

If you look back in history, of all the double digit seeds to have success in the tournament the #11 seed is the best.
