Just a thought w our CEO's mindset and plan to "win NOW!" You don't produce you gone! Definitely not Miles stance on things or he would have fired himself after his last BCS championship game!
Our OC and DC are arguably the best young coordinators in all of college football and WE NOcoach who "bleeds" purple and gold. Throw in the best recruiting class ever for a 1st year SEC coach and the blue print is on the wall. Give the AD some credit for opening up the purse strings as well. All in all I think the direction of the LSU football program is an upward spiral. Beating Ala.? That's another story for another day. But we play them better than anyone in our conference year in and year out. Geaux Tigers!

Not sure about that. The current staff salaries may be less than last season's given the disparity between Miles and Orgeron. It does allow flex in luring assistants and coordinators.

Let's just say we are on the right track and see where it goes from there. O has his work cut out for him.

You just lost all credibility. I guess Nick should have fired himself after Ohio St and Clemson.

Not until we can keep Bama from cherry picking 4 and 5 star recruits from Louisiana and put them in purple and gold.

Good Lord, folks. I don't want us to be the next Alabama, or anybody else for that matter. I want us to be the best LSU we can be. If we can be the best we can be, then we will be the best !

If LSU wins every game but only loses to Bama every year, I'll take it. But, Saban won't be there forever. Things always change.

Your thread posses me off!! Screw Alabama and everything associated with them. If Alabama fell off into the Gulf, I'd feel bad for the Gulf getting polluted with inbred sister humpin' rednecks. I don't want to be the new Alabama when I could be the OLD LSU!!!

Yeah. We are without three coaches

Saban had his new OC in staff already

We have knee jerk firings, Bama has a process

We have a DL coach which never won anything. BAMA has the best coach in history who just annihilated it on signing day

Just alike

If its all the same to you, I have no desire for LSU to be the "next Alabama".
The very notion is sickening...

Everyone complaining about being compared to BAMA would have given their left nut if Saban said his wife really missed being in Baton Rouge, and he was taking the LSU job when the seat was available.

bullshite. It's not like Saban is Art Briles or Joe Paterno. That stuff is truly "sickening."

We'd take Alabama's coach, program, and success in a heartbeat.
