Look at both Clemson and Bama’s lineman,
I bet they both have to maintain a certain% body fat. No big fat bellies in either of thes teams. Unlike ours

Agreed, I've preached this for a year and whose responsible. I've posted that I'm through beating down Moffitt because Oeaux knows this hopefully and it's not worth my time trying to educate some on this board the facts that are holding LSU back.

Talked about this on the Moffitt thread, we're recruiting the wrong "type" linemen and come in with too much bad/excess weight that kills stamina, agility and overall performance.

Do you think that with some of the younger guys starting this season that they really haven't been in the system long enough to get where they need to be physically. This is where the lack of upperclassmen hurt LSU.

I don’t buy it. They aren’t in shape. Look at 92 for Bame you see any fat on any of thes guys. Maybe O and
Moffitt just don’t get it

When we can get our guys looking like Bamas that’s when we will get back to the elite level. PERIOD

Look at 99 Ferrell, that's the type of DE's LSU needs to recruit

I been saying this for a while. Our lineman all look like they’ve pounding Miller lites.

If you can get away with holding on every play like the Gumps then it doesn't matter what kind of shape you're in. Arm bars and a fist full of jersey on every play.

Yes, very obvious. After watching Army & Under-armour all-star games, many of recruits are way over limit % fat.

Your comparing a 4 front DE to a 3-4 DE. They are different types of athletes. However I do agree it seems like our guys are over weight and less explosive by comparison.
