The fans don't deserve night games. The students obviously have other priorities at that time.

A ton of fans travel from New Orleans and surrounding areas to go to the games and then complain that if they stay to the end they will get stuck in traffic and won't get home until midnight.

Just start requesting 2:30 games and that excuse is gone. Our pitiful fans don't deserve night games just so they can tailgate for 10 hours, get wasted and then leave at halftime.

Is the night game experience really that much better with maybe 40K fans left in the 4th quarter?

I'm actually all for it at this point. This fan base doesn't deserve night games anymore.

I'm not saying that they would all be granted, but I'm guessing the requests are at least taken into consideration. I understand that there are a lot of moving pieces to consider (tv time slots being the main one). But, it is my understanding that LSU currently requests night games.

I expect Tiger Stadium to be full in the 4th Quarter against Ole Miss, barring a blowout of some sort.

If it's 20-13 Ole Miss with 7:48 to go in the game, I expect the stadium to be at full capacity.

I honestly wouldn't mind an afternoon game in November. Bbut there is no hell like standing on a metal bleacher at 11:30 am in 95 degree September heat to watch the Tigers play some godawful nonconference patsy.

I think it will be more full than it has been. I'll be the first to admit that I was not happy that the game was set for 8. I would have much rathered 6:30. I think that if either team has a 14-17 point lead after halftime you'll see people start to leave.

Yea, you probably wouldn't want to do this for the September games.

Can LSU fans skip a tailgate for once in their lives?

That question doesn't go out to the fans who stay the duration, but the fans that can't make it because they got to campus at 9am to start the grill or put the tent up.

You don't know much about college football because the sec network afternoon game is at 3 o'clock and not 2:30.
