With UGA/UF/A&M/UA/TCU next year I'm afraid the club will be facing a mountain next year.

LSU did care and LSU came to play. CLM had his team ready emotionally which is a testament for him, because it wouldve been easy for this team to have not been engaged during practice. Like ur post indicates but that is simply not true.

CLM should get credit for a very fired up team, that came to play and show the world that they were the best team in the country.Unfortunately, They just ran into a QB that was absolutely incredible and refused to let his team lose. Their QB, horrible OL play and questionable play calling cost us the game. Give Clemson some credit, theyre a good team.

Hey LSUANDY, there is absolutely no reason LSU shouldn't have won that game, other than shitty coaching. Why don't you explain away the play calling by our coaches?

So this is the excuse for this one? Players just didn't care. No big deal? Nothing to worry about?

I don't see much difference between last night's performance and every other game this year. Giving or not giving a care has nothing to do with problem.

I think I mentioned the play calling as a big part of us losing. The statement was " LSU lost last night because they didn't care about the game"

I didnt feel that that was true. I think our kids especially the defense gave it their all and left nothing on that field.

LSU must have not cared for the BCS National Championship either. The coaches shite the seat in that particular game.

So basically what were saying if we don't beat bama, just call it a season?

It appears that this is correct. The Bama game was one of the only games this year that our team looked well prepared. We made huge strides in that game. And, the last minute loss took away a chance to win the West, SEC, and BCS NC. Losing to Bama really did kill this team.

So lets bitch about the bowl and lose. That makes it so much better. This needs to be in a history book or something because this repeats .

You're an idiot! To fail is not insubordination.

What an effective rebuttal. I admire the strength of your argument and the effectiveness of your presentation. I concede that what I did in high school is a fact that I overlooked.

I can't believe you people are serious about this. It was on national TV and a complete embarrassment. This excuse doesn't work.

This cheap bowl game meant as much to LSU football as did that Steak Eating Contest

If you are that stupid then please tell me why you accept that bid to embarrass yourself on national TV?

You think recruits didnt watch that bullshite? You think that doesnt influence a possible early entries decision process?

Please tell me no one can be that stupid

Just like the coaches, just like the fans - these players didn't get fired up for this bullshite bowl. You can say all you want but I honestly think they could have beat a far more capable team in some other game. But just sticking them in Atlanta again proved to be too stagnant for them to overcome. Sure I'd have liked to see a different outcome but there was no good that could have really come out of it. Clemson in the Peach Bowl is probably the worst game they could have ended up in and it proved to be such: a trap.

Now everybody grow up and let's look forward to next year. It's basketball season.

What a load of BS from an obvious fair weather fan. LSU deserves better than you and anyone else with this ridiculous outlook.
