I guess the 3 wins came from us having a competent head coach not named Les or Ed

Why do you lump Les in with the failure of a coach we have now?

hat's my problem. This isn't a fluke loss. They manhandled us and can do it again if needed.

Yep.

You read the quotes from the Troy players, both offense and defense. All say the same: Coaches scouted LSU well; we knew exactly what to expect; We felt we could do anything on the ground and air vs LSU defense; LSU offense was easy to prepare for, shifting is meaningless.

Based on RPI ratings, LSU had a 95% chance of winning that game.

They then proceeded to not give two shits.

Both deserve(d) to be fired.

I think 7 of 10 is a little extreme. Troy had to have a few things go right last night...LSU fumbling on the first play, a shank field goal hitting the crossbar and being good, and a couple of bad QB decisions.

But in NO way should those "breaks" overshadow the problems that are present. There was a time not long ago when LSU would be expected to win 10 out of 10 vs a Sun Belt team.

Kudos to Troy for getting the job done, and I am actually encouraged that there are virtually zero threads bitching about refs, questionable calls, etc. The masses now see the big picture.

One never lost games like this. The point is, mentioning him wad unnecessary and unwarranted.

We had 2 fumbles recoveries near our goal line. This could've been a blowout. 7 out of 10 feels about right man.

2008 LSU mirrors 2017 LSU, with the exception that the 2008 team was more talented.

It took a miracle to beat Troy then, barely beat Tech and Tulane.

The talent drain has been occurring for several years. Now, in addition they have a lack of leadership.

“ Miles needed to go”

This is simply BS. Miles will still winning, still recruiting, still having nationally ranked teams, and still having teams who played for him.

Firing a coach is not a singular action. It’s fire and hire and in this case, at this time, the firing was a significant mistake because the product on the field has not improved but is dramatically worse.

Miles needed to go in November of 2015 as was for planned. He did need to be fired but not to be replaced with the guy we have now.

This team reminds me of the Dinardo teams of the late 90s. Tiger Stadium will be a ghost town against Arkansas when we have 3 or 4 more loses by then

Because I have the capacity of seeing that neither of them were fit to be coaching college football. When you are trying to make the argument of which coach sucked the least, you know we are in bad shape as a program. Is that how you rationalize which woman you are going to date? “ well, mary fricked that dude while we were together, but Heather only sucked that dudes dick when we together. Man now I miss Heather”.

Dinardo's teams were bad on defense. They could actually score and many good games went down to the wire. This is worse.

I'm not making that argument. You're the one bringing miles up.
