LSU is way overdue with renovations to the PMAC

Something needs to be done, I personally like the PMAC but I think y'all could do much better. The one thing that needs immediate attention is the scoreboard at mid court, that thing is hideous. As far as the seating there is nothing really that is needed differently. Y'all can do that or just blow it up and build a new one

Oh wait the student section needs to be moved back to the sideline and for gosh sake, don't allow those dang nerds to be in the front row!!

for starters, moving the seats closer to the court. then i would cut the table where announcers sit in half and puts seats along the court.

This. The nerds in the media corner need to be moved. It sucks having them flanking the students on the bottom.

In all seriousness though that social suicide section needs to be abolished. It makes y'all look awful on National Television.

I like it. I thought it was especially beautiful a couple of weeks ago when it said "LSU 90, Ole Miss 81."

Well, for 7 years, the social suicide section was the only section that had any people in it, so I'd say they've earned their keep.

I worked at the PMAC in undergrad in 2007-2008. We are one of the shrinking number of SEC basketball arenas that has to have the basketball floor picked up and put down by hand. Each piece is about 150- 200lbs and two guys have to pull them out and stack them, while another guy "unpins" the next piece. Then the stacks of floor have to be stored in a storage area with a forklift. It takes a lot of manhours and you waste useful space with storage and upkeep of the forklift. Also, the bleachers were so ghetto that the motors quit working and we had to pull them out and push them in with 10 guys and a forklift. Not OSHA approved.
Anyway, the powers that be feel that the cost of a new arena or major renovation is more than the long term cost savings on having a modern basketball arena and natatorium in one building.

They can be overthrown, use force if necessary. Just get them out, I have a bunch of friends at LSU and that is not at all the students that represent y'all

no I watch LSU because I like to see Ben play, and it burns my eyes to see that section
