This phrase has always bugged me when it comes to football. You play one game a week, you shouldn't ever need bulletin board material
its not for game day. its for the entire week leading up to the game. its keeping your focus on a tuesday. big games arent won on game day. they are won during preparation.

For starters, you had some offensive issues early on against a Tennessee team that hung around with you for far too long.
17-7 at half

compared to Bama's 17-7 at half against an even worse ole miss team?

This game is like both games against UGA and Ole Miss - all in '03. All wrapped up into one.

I have never wanted LSU to beat a team more than I want LSU to beat Alabama this year. It's almost unhealthy the way I feel that.

I would enjoy the absolute meltdown behind it.

he has accomplished what he wanted to with this...to get people to read it.

It's really that simple.

He didn't mention that Ole Miss only trailed bama by 10 at half, same as lsu led tenn...and tenn is a hell of a lot better...not that any of that kind of crap matters.

He mentioned that AJ had all-sec talent at qb, but is being patient (even though his numbers are not quite there..lol). He didn't mention that JL is in the top 20 in passer rating, and tops of the SEC, and that LSU leads the nation in red zone efficiency, oh and Lee is 11/1 on the year........

In short...he was looking for controversy....for people to read him.....he got it.

I totally disagree... yeah one should be ready to play every game with full intensity, but if you think (for example), that TM7 stating publicly that Tenn. #81 would be shut down, didnt motivate that player to really step up, and when one on one with TM7, not push a lil harder.... then you have no idea about human emotion.... Have you ever played sports??? Do you EVER get excited??? If you are serious... you really dont get it..

LOL I love how people are already giving Bama the title.

Sort of like OU in 2003 and USC (the best team ever) in 2005.

Bama is definitely strong but LSU is as well. In the last few years LSU hasn't been given much a shot to beat them. The last 3 years Bama was a heavy favorite or fully expected to win. All 3 were down to the wire.

I hope the media keeps talking up Saban and his team. It will definitely add a little more fuel to the fire for LSU and the fans.

The bama Tennessee game intrigues me. If they can keep it within 2 td's, I will be happy.

Sabans downfall is, his team is SO PREDICTIBLE. I don't think his game plan has changed in ten years.

Miles is about as anti saban as you can get. I would be a nervous SOB if I was on the other sideline as les miles with a week to prepare.

Also, even if bama is the better team(not saying they are), the better team does not always win

I seriously hope that nobody gives us a chance to win. I think it will motivate our team even more.
