That RPI factor is a joke. UNC swept a loaded field at the Astros classic this weekend.

Cal, Rice, and A&M? That's "loaded"?

More often than not, yes. That's loaded.

Cal is 5-6.

Rice is 6-5.

TAM is 8-5, with 6 of its wins coming against Northwestern St., Texas Southern, UIC and Stephen F. Austin. Pepperdine took 2 out of 3 from A&M in College Station.

And? It's still more likely that in any given year those teams are going to be very good rather than all be down at the same time.

With all this said, at this pace we are heading for a nice louisiana style regional. Lsu, ULL, Tulane, and ULM

I mean, they're no Brown and Nicholls St.

He's right. That field isn't nearly as good as the poster made it out to be.

Seems like we shoul be able to get 4 good opponents to the box for a weekend mini tourney. Like a rice and cal

Vastly more impressive than playing an Ivy League team playing their first games of the season. Which we've done for about the last 3 years.

Did any say that? Pretty sure they didn't.

Again the field was not really loaded at all.

And better matchups than Brown vs Nicholls might draw more fans and help pay down that mountain of debt that doesn't allow us to play on the road ever.

You could even play off the fans emotions an lump a team like stony brook in here. People would go after what happened last year, even if stony brook is shitty

There are people using the #5 SOS as justification for scheduling Brown and playing two in state opponents on weekends.

All of those games were sell outs with SRO tickets sold for each game.

Lsu, rice, baylor, an southeastern. That would be a nice classic that could draw people
