3-3 is a minor improvement from last year's 2-4.

it's sad that this is what we are referencing as "improvement".... this is where we are as a program.... hardly where we expect to be

I agree it is sad. It's when you look solely at this year and last year there is decline.

Hopefully they can add a new OC and give that OC control to change to modern wrinkles. Everyone bashes Crowtin but I think he had some imagination. If only he would've been a QB coach.

will NEVER happen as long as Miles is HC... never, ever, ever, ever.... job on the line or not.... it won't happen....

It's interesting that if you take TAMU and Bama out of W/L, LSU is 3-5 against the other 4 teams. That's 2 Mississippi schools, Arkansas and Auburn.

Lol and 2 of those wins we only won by 2 and 3 points and the 5 losses we lost by 14+ with exception to MSU where it took a miracle comeback to only lose by 6 lol

Completely terrible

you and i are in the same boat, but don't do the "only won" or "almost lost" shite... doesn't add to your credibility of your post... just go with the ones we actually lost, and leave the wins in the win column...

9-9 last three seasons

Or, look at it this way...
3-3 this season

So that means we went from 2-4 to 3-3...the decline is in an upwards trajectory.

I was comparing the quality of the wins versus the quality of the losses. Which since you left this part out:

I could see why you would take it out of context. I think the whole les miles being on the hot seat has not only to do with how bad we are getting beat, but just how slim our victories are as well. We could easily be 1-7 versus these teams. I know "almost doesn't count" but it sure as hell doesn't make me feel any better either when considering not only the w/l column but the box score as well.

3-5 (2-3)
5-3 (3-2)
6-2 (3-2)
8-0 (6-0)

no, i fully got the context, and i know you are comparing the relative margins of victory vs. defeats, but my point remains...

quote:

how slim our victories are

you know what they call slim victories? ....victories

quote:

it sure as hell doesn't make me feel any better either when considering not only the w/l column but the box score as well.

at the end of the day, a win is s win....

and to be clear, i wanted Miles gone so bad, i was gonna show up on his doorstep to help his arse pack, but again, leave the wins in the win column... no need to play the "almost lost" game....

Herbstreit is an ESPN guy and wants Bama to stay on top of the SEC because of game ratings just like all the other game announcers.

I would say we are holding level with a few peaks here and there.

I wish we could go back to the years of going 5-3 in conference play. 01, 02, 09, 13, 15

If anything we have bounced back this year. We are a 5-6 win team on average in the SEC. That is what we did this year.

Some fans just want to believe we are better than we actually are.

Bradley Dale Peveto patting Keehn on the shoulder after his umpteenth shanked punt like: "Don't worry about it, son!" sums up the lackadaisical, "who cares?" and undisciplined approach of Les Miles and his staff.

But hey, #goodfamilyman #zany #ratherlosewithmilesthanwinwithsaban #etc.etc.etc.

That is so awesome. Just imagine, we could have lost 5 games that we did not.

Golly fellas, Les is the answer for this great program.

Why you mad at me?

It was 4-7, now it's 5-7, I hate TAMU and was happy to make it 5-7.

Not sure why 5-5 against the field (excluding Bama) gives you hope, but unfortunately LSU doesn't play TAMU 8 times a season.
