It's college, every team is young. This is not an excuse.

Clemson's QB is a first time full year starter.
Alabama's QB is a first time full year starter.
Oklahoma's QB is a first time full year starter.

We returned a crap ton of starters from last year. We have Sr leadership on our OL and Defense. We have arguably the best player in the country with Fournette.

We have 16 Jr's or Sr's that start or have big time impacts. Clapp, Key, Toliver, Teuhema, and Jackson are the only contributors that don't have starts or playing time before this year because they are Fr.

This team had no business finishing where it did. Simply put.

Lombardi-Excuses are a LOSERS ALIBI!!!! Boy The Miles crowd has plenty!!! Saban left a goal mine for a man ill equipped to handle it. QB's he left were Matt Flynn and J Russell. These 2, padded a lot of wins for Miles

there are only 13 seniors and 26 juniors on this team.

So a total of only 39 upper classman on this very young team (I don't know if that is accurate). That's good to know. The greatest team in College Football History was the 2011 LSU Tiger team that was shut out in the NC game after dismantling the Rose Bowl Champ, the Cotton Bowl Champ, the Orange Bowl Champ and the National Champion on their home field.

That all time great team, for comparison sake, had 38 upper classman. I guess that team was younger than this one, go figure.

You stop it with that logic! Common sense has no business on this board now-a-days.

Are you retarded? I mean really. All of you 1/9 mourners. It was a loss in the national championship game. There's one every year. "Bu bu but we didn't reach the 50" wahhhhhh. Get the frick over it. It was a great season. The greatest season in LSU history. Probably our greatest team ever on the field. It was 4 YEARS AGO. The only people who EVER bring up 1/9 as being a devastating loss or anything is the whining arse LSU fans who can't get over it, and the folks on the rant from other teams who use it to troll you pathetic frickers. It wasn't program defining. It has zero bearing on any other game. Only for you dumbasses who continually try to say it is the reason for every loss since then, all while ignoring the fact that the team that lines up opposite us is just better. Someone has to be. 5 straight #1 recruiting classes guarantee that it is. And I know. Les hasn't recruited as well as Saban. No shite. Neither has 125 other FBS coaches. No one does. No one will. It is what it is. Pull your skirt up, change your tampons, and sit down with a nice cup of tea in front of the fireplace you bunch a damn Nancy's.
