I do not know the SD for the Wonderlic? But based on the IQ conversion (which is an estimate), yes. An SD is 15. On avarega blacks score an 85 IQ. He was roughly 1/2 SD below that.

I am more surprised by the super low scores than higher scores even with that population, as those taking the wonderlic are a "somewhat skewed" population. By that, I mean it they are not representative of the general and overall population. Those talking the wonderlic attended college. So you are choosing from a groups who at least qualified for college. Yes, I know they are athletes. But thaey did qualify.

IQ tests are racist.

You used research performed in 1994. IQ test were culturally biased and contained material, words, phrases, etc.. that were common in the white household. Not fair to other cultures and not acceptable to use in order to prove a point today.

Added: SES may be a better indication of IQ. Stronger correlation.

Inaccurate. The data hold true in studies today, even on nonverbal IQ tests. Even on the block design subtest where all one has to do is put blocks together to make shapes. Same holds true in blacks raised by middle-class white families. You need to familiarize yourself with intelligence test such as the Wechsler Scales, Stanford-Binet and TONI (Test of Nonverbal Intelligence) and the research on them, as well as the specifics on racial differences.

Simply because on groups scores differently than another does not mean the measure is biased or unfair. There are racial differences in physical attributes, physical functioning, genes, medical diseases. Why is it so hard to believe that differences do not exists in the brain or in intellectual functioning.

All PP needs to know how to do is sign his name on his paychecks. and count his money. With a score of 9, he may have to hire someone to count the money. He will be fine

You make a good point. From what I have studied, studies show that individuals in the same position(SES, two parent household, etc..) score in the same range.
