What did you guys think? Just curious.

To me there were quite a bit fans that made the trip for a 2-3 team this year. I couldn't tell from the south endzone. I couldn't tell what was below me with the band, etc.

The upper decks had a pretty good amount of blue from what I could see. 6K + some easy, correct?

It was impressive IMO. LSU and BR must be happy with the turnout.

There were probably between 9 and 10k worth of blue wearing fans at the game...6k in direct ticket sales at McNeese, and another 3 to 4 who "beg, borrowed or stole" tickets from LSU ticketholders.

Plus some people who are fans of both wore blue just to be supportive. I saw hundreds of people wearing Blue shirts and LSU hats, or vice-versa...some wore "House Divided" shirts that were half McNeese/half LSU.

We travel well and I thought we were well represented at LSU.

It was a great experience for the players, coaches and fans. I haven't talked to a single solitary McNeese fan who didn't enjoy the trip.

Thanks for the hospitality ;)

It was a very good turnout. And I'm not just referring to the visitor's section of seats. McNeese fans were sprinkled almost everywhere, including a good number of them in the Stadium Club* level where my tickets were for the McNeese game.

* This is the only way I could work it into a post that my tickets Saturday night were in the Stadium Club..........

i saw 4 people painted blue wearing mcneese clothes in the upper deck stand up and cheer when lsu scored.

Prob one of those games where you want your team to score and look good, but for the greater good you want lsu to win so they can accomplish better things

My wife talked me into wearing an LSU shirt. The people behind me looked at me like I was crazy after that first McNeese TD. I jumped up and cheered like it was a playoff game.

Then later I proceeded to mention to a friend of mine saying "this is cute and all, but it's time to stop fricking around."

saw a group of women walking down Chimes that had one member with an appropriate shirt on. Left to right letters said LSU, from top to bottom letters spelled MSU. They were all from Lake Chuck.

I saw a few McNeese characters that I probably wouldn't be associated with. Just sayin'.

Excellent turn out.

I went to McNeese (played football there) and am a life long Tiger fan. Was proud as hell to see the Cowboys on the field and was proud of how they played. Even got into the post touchdown celebration (lean clap clap lean clap clap lean clap clap ).

I'm assuming this is Jericho Loupe I'm replying to, another former McCenter..

Yep, it WAS good to see Jolie Blonde played in Tiger Stadium ;)

They were good fans. There was a crew that I told "Enjoy the game" that took it as me Tiger Baiting them......, their response was "Well your coach is still Miles". Oh well, I can see how someone would take it the wrong way.

I see a few Tiger characters that I probably wouldn't be associated with at every home game too.

Great turnout! I'd say close to 10k fans in Blue.....

Hell, my old LSU room-mate had on a McNeese shirt....

And yes, I had McNeese fans by me in the Stadium Club as well.

Probably the most fun I've had tailgating before and after the game in a long time!
