I mean Georgia is returning 12-14 with a lot of all sec caliber players. I don’t disagree with you much. We have a hell of a team coming back and I’m excited for what it brings.

I’m not 100% sold on our Cornerback room just yet. That my biggest question mark on this team and Week 1 vs FSU will tell the story.

Just have to find a way to win that game against FSU because I think our defensive backfield will steadily improve with experience together.

Let’s see what our corners look like first. They got abused in 1-1 drills today. I know it was first day of practice but they are a big question mark.

I can see where the concern would come from. But I think this will prove to be a strength of the defense. ESPECIALLY if Denver Harris has his head screwed on straight. The depth is there thanks to the portal.

Agree on offense. 2 deep across the line. WRs to spare. Taylor at TE. Excellent QB and capable backup. Stable of RBs.
Disagree on defense. Way too many questions on D. Every position is a question mark to me outside of D-line. Confident in Smith, Brooks, Perkins, Wingo and that's about it. All other positions are reliant on a inexperienced player or transfer.

This. Listen, Kelly has for the most part done a great job thus far both on the field and the recruiting trail. But I still think he royally screwed the pooch by coming down so hard on McGlothern and running him off.
He should be the veteran leader of that position group this year.
