3 Top 5 opponents
BCSNCG opponent
2011 Big East Champ
2011 Orange Bowl Champ
2011 Pac 12 Champ
2011 Rose Bowl Champ
2010 National Champ
2010 National Champ Runner-up
2009 National Champ
2008 National Champ
2011 Music City Bowl Winner
2011 Gator Bowl Winner
2011 Chik-fil-A Bowl Winner
2011 SEC Eastern Division Champion
2011 Cotton Bowl Champ (If Arky Wins)

What else am I missing?

God it would have been great if Alabama had gone to the Sugar Bowl and won, and then we play/beat Oklahoma State in the title game.

3 of the 4 BCS game winners defeated, and then to win the national championship.

When the final polls come out, LSU might have played the toughest schedule in the history of College football........... and pretty much blown it out.

If and I say IF bama were to win on the 9th... LSU would have beaten the rose bowl champ, the orange bowl champ and the national champ??? And yet the season would be forgotten? :(

Beaten is an understatement....i prefer the word slaughtered or how about humiliated...with the exception of Bama in which of course we'll prove otherwise come Monday!!!

I'm to the point now where even if we lose, we should still be ranked #1 because we were so good we beat a team that managed to beat us.

Yeah, if it's a close game it's hard to say that all of that can be erased by a loss to a team you've beaten on the road.

But the way it stands, it would be.

The victories by WVU and Oregon really emphasize what LSU did this year. Also note that bama's "big" victory (PSU) lost to Houston.

The selling point isn't the big win, in order to be considered great you have to lose to a great team. The only way LSU will be better than Bama this year is if they lose on Monday.

This is completely ridiculous and needs to be circulated throughout the media. If TD can get the ball rolling I can see it spreading like wildfire leading up to the game.
