LSU had 88 blocks this year....

That was good enough for 240th in the country. Jordan Mickey had 112 blocks last yr and 106 his freshman year. It's crazy how good he was at blocking shots.

Not having a rim protector was the biggest problem on this team. You can mask a lot of defensive deficiencies if you have an eraser at the goal. Also can press a lot more if you have that guy back there if all else fails.

Not surprising. When you have Darcy Mutombo out there, people don't even really try to shoot over him.
