Once again...it's not O's fault these teams were having poor years,

I never said it was. All I'm doing is pointing out the (weak) competition he's faced after you said "here are facts regarding whether he can compete in the West:"

I love it when so-called LSU fans are relegated to crying about wins.

Not crying about it at all. Just pointing out the weak competition that o has faced since he took over for Miles.

Well Ree, if you didn't have the memory of a hamster, or if you had enough sense to read the post I was responding to, you'd realize that geauxcoco included Missouri as one of o's impressive wins in his post.

But you don't have the sense God gave a goose, so nobody should be surprised that you didn't catch that.

And Les would school this guy like Ali schooling Sonny liston.

Such a joke and you’re such a tool.

You don’t believe he can go 10-2 this year?
I adjusted my prediction from 8-4 to 10-2 after we got Burrow.

A smart QB that can check down and make a few pressure throws in the flat can most definitely turn a couple otherwise close losses to wins IMO.

And a long snapper. Also a TE who needs to be rated

10-2? Wow. I'd love for you to be right. But let's be realistic. Based on history and what we've seen thus far, what has O shown to prove worthy of such a bold prediction?

I'm an optimist, but once reality sinks in, I come to my senses. Regardless of talent and Aranda, unless something drastically changes, O will crash this bus and burn. Just a matter of when.

I like Burrow. A lot. O hit the jackpot and deserves some credit on getting him. He'll be the difference in a win or two, and help buy O one more year. Then nature will take its course with a new AD and HC in 2020.

IMO, the answer to this question is when Aranda leaves. I don’t believe O is the long term answer, but he’s capable of keeping the talent coming in.

Soooo...you weren’t making fun of 0 when he was coaching at Ole Miss?

E'erbody makes fun of Ole Miss

Maybe LSU is O's MSU (Saban) or OSU (Miles) or USC (Carrol).

I agree somewhat. But stars and recruiting rankings do not necessarily translate into wins. And there's only so much that Dave and the D can do.

Don't worry yourself too much. He will be around to see it. He already did last season and has improved the team immensely since then.

His recruits - Giles, Fehoko, Burrow, Tracy, Moss and Alexander not to mention all the freshmen who played last year will be playing this season and beyond.

This is true....which is why it will be nice to have a boatload if talent sitting around waiting for the next coach if he fails.
