We field 21 teams. Schools like Stanford and Ohio State have over 30. I think we're doing pretty good.

The true "tale of the tape" will be when the pentathlam standings come out.

For those not familiar, here are last year's results: LINK

Note who finished no. 12 to help you guess who came up with this.

Let's see--many of these schools win championships in sports such as lacrosse, men's volleyball, lightweight rowing, and synchronized swimming.

As the special man says, "Let 'em have it!"

and how many do UF, A&M and UGA field? I get the others who do the 30's but why aren't we above the other 3 SEC schools? Frankly we should be. No reason UF or UGA or fricking A&M has more on field success in a overall situation.

I'm looking at basketball, both genders

4th is ok nothing special. Half the SEC hadn't invested in athletics like we have.

How do some of you so casually make claims with absolutely no evidence to support your claim?

LSU has JUST started investing in non-revenue sports the past 6-8 years. We were the last school to get an indoor tennis facility. Our track program didn't have locker rooms for 30 years, etc...

But by all means continue to talk out of your arse
