Kentucky says thanks, we’ll take $100K and give up one loss. Such stupidity.

South Carolina fans rushed the court too after beating Kentucky few weeks ago. So if you are keeping score at home, Kentucky has made $200k this year...by losing

Considering they still have to play at Mississippi St, as well as Tennessee in the final game (where Tennessee could be playing for an SEC Championship) a few more losses could net them nearly half a million this year.

That is a stupid rule.
The school has no control over the situation other than to use physical force which would be more dangerous.
Let the fans have their fun.
it's a safety issue, for both the players and the fans.

And a school does have control, although I admit it would be very difficult to hold back thousands of college kids intent on rushing the court/field.

Bayou Barbie should step up and pay this our of her Millions of NIL for the university since she was one of the first ones on the court.
It was great to see her, Del Rosario, Velez, and other members of the women's team there cheering them on.

Would be very childish to write STTDB in the memo line.

Not saying they should not have done so, just that it would be childish. And funny in the rather large 5th grade humor portion of my brain.

That same part of my brain thinks it would also be funny to hire 50 delivery drivers to each deliver a $2000 check at the same time. To resemble rushing the accounting offices in Lexington.

WBB Nebraska fans rushed the court after beating Iowa, and Clark collided with a fan. But Big10 did not fine Nebraska. Fines not practiced consistently across all conferences. $100K fine seems to be stupid and giving it to Kentucky is even more stupid. They get paid for losing?

greatest coach in the history of college football. And brought us our first national championship in 45 years.

He’s not the miserable one.

I remember when Greg Stankey mentioned something about losing a home game the following year for storming the field. The stupidity in that.
