LSU fans are the most harsh, critical, and demanding fans in college football. But let me say this: WE ARE THE MOST PASSIONATE AND INTENSE fans in college football (this includes douchebag Texas fans) Going to an LSU game at Tiger Stadium means pure insanity and intensity so please don't expect a "tea party" as some so called "fans" would like.

Tiger baiting used to be in good fun, now it has gotten ugly. The Oregon game was the worse. I saw beer cans/bottles thrown at Oregon fans and this was from individuals that weren't plastered. Flipping the bird and called them figs. WTH?!?

Do you want a competitive advantage, or do you want to be like Vanderbilt?

Hey brah that goes both ways. I never been treated more like shite than Oregon fans did in Dallas. They make Florida look like a Boy Scout league team

not really. it's a internet forum. if it was some kind of "statement" about LSU fans it would be a slanted/ignorant/confused one that you seem to be buying into.

for the good ole days, it's always been rowdy. Since 58. Now the rowdiness may have gotten over a line for you, but for some it's not.

I agree on some respects that some of it is getting out of hand, but you can say the same about alot of schools these days. I was a casual observer at the bama/florida game last year and the bama fans were terrible towards the florida fans. other SEC schools as well as other conferences are having similar issues.

Actually, in some ways, it's much tamer

A relative played for ole miss in the 70s, and when he played at Tiger Stadium back then, he had glass bottle thrown at him...on the way into the locker room and on the sideline.

Another payed for UF in the nineties, and the most he had done was have a 'tiger bait' thrown at him, and have the team bus rocked a little.

My BFF's dad played for the Tigers back in the early 60s, and he had crazy stories abut the shite both the team and fans did back then.

As quoted earlier:

Buddapank, you obviously weren't in Tigerstadium in 1982, when the whole East top rows were Nolan Ryan'ing oranges into the back of FSU geriatrics heads.

You are denial buddy, LSU, like all fanbases has always had it's share of illiterate a-holes..actually more than it's fair share. But, it also has at least fivefold it's share of the most generous and best fans any fanbase could ever wish for!

It's sorta like the angel on one shoulder, and the devil on the other, it's just a matter of which one Tigerfan listens to about their fervor.

patience.
the administration will step in.
they will cut the student section in half and fire the band director.
they will cut beer sales to the half. they will kick out the drunks and take away their tkts. ahole students are being kicked out of school all the time.

these loudmouth ranturds are just aholes on the rant. out in public, they are only courageous w/ alcohol. then they will be walked on or arrested.

the lsu adm. knows what's happening. write the lsu adm. with your complaints. NEVER get involved w/ a drunk. just call a cop or security. i do it all the time. drunks get punished.
don't post on rant about ranturds. your low post counts really just means you don't understand the low iq that posts here.

also, don't request an email for every response.

They were just trying to further scientific knowledge among the general population.

Ducks behave pretty badly, it seems. It is not so much that up to one in 10 of mallard couples are homosexual - no one would raise an eyebrow in the liberal Netherlands - but they regularly indulge in "attempted rape flights" when they pursue other ducks with a view to forcible mating. "Rape is a normal reproductive strategy in mallards," explains Mr Moeliker. As he recounts in his seminal paper, The first case of homosexual necrophilia in the mallard anas platyrhynchos, he was in his office in the Natuurmuseum Rotterdam, when he was alerted by a bang to the fact a bird had crashed into the glass facade of the building. "I went downstairs immediately to see if the window was damaged, and saw a drake mallard (anas platyrhynchos) lying motionless on its belly in the sand, two metres outside the facade. The unfortunate duck apparently had hit the building in full flight at a height of about three metres from the ground. Next to the obviously dead duck, another male mallard (in full adult plumage without any visible traces of moult) was present. He forcibly picked into the back, the base of the bill and mostly into the back of the head of the dead mallard for about two minutes, then mounted the corpse and started to copulate, with great force, almost continuously picking the side of the head.

Every year I bring a group from the Bay Area back to a game. (this year its the Auburn game) There are five regulars and then some add ons. This year we will have 3 newbies with us. Every year without exception those who come to the game for the first time always say how they came to see a game and left having a religious experience. They always cite the same thing.....The fans....How friendly, knowledgable and wild they are....I always have a waiting list of folks just dying to come back...

Plus another drunk arse was in the middle of the street directing traffic with a whistle and going up to UO fans and blowing it in their face.

Saw that. The moron driving around in the avalanche blowing the horn non-stop was also a disgrace. That being said, I was sitting in the Oregon section and I saw one of their fans spitting beer on an LSU couple, along with a few other similar acts that were inappopriate. Bottom line, every fan base has its share of trash, but it does seem the trash pushes it a little further every year to try to be noticed.

Regarding the comment that you should just step up and put a stop to it, the fact is some of us have professions and things called careers that will not allow for brawling with a bunch of drunk assholes at a college football game. Even so, I did step in and put a stop to the beer spitting, as that was basically the final straw. 99.9% of the time it is just best to walk away.
