Why?

When you don't look for trouble, you will rarely find it.

If ULaLa fans show up, watch baseball and keep their mouths shut, there won't be any trouble. You aren't worthy of us hating you unless you do something stupid. ULaLa is just a lower tiered school like McNeese and Southeastern that allows poorer and less intelligent kids a place to get some sort of degree that's worth a little more than a certification from a votech. Nothing there for us to hate.

[quote]By the way... y'all is a combination of "You all", which means you put the apostrophe between "you" and "all"... thus getting "y'all", not "ya'll".

[quote]You're welcome for your english lesson of the day. Now go back to your frat party.

Your original post was nice. When you correct another poster's spelling on this board, you need to do it correctly or you leave yourself open for retaliation. While I know you are a French speaking Cajun, slang for Acadian, the first English lesson of the day is to spell English with a capital " E ".

Normally don't post on the board anymore. I've been to football and baseball games at ULL with a friend a ULL friend of mine. Always wear my LSU gear. Never, never have I had any trouble there nor when they came with me to LSU games.

That being said I've always been subject to teasing and even was asked if I ate corndogs but always in good humor. Same when we went to LSU games. So it's hard for me to understand where all the crap comes from on both sides.

And I know fans everywhere have their few idiots who always look for trouble but for the most part I've seldom found fans anywhere in the SEC where I've gone for games that have been looking for trouble. Now we all know that when the liquor overtakes one that common sense goes out the window so avoiding those mostly 12 to 18 year olds guarantees a good time.

Blast away!

The Rant more closely represents LSU fandom's Id than the actual LSU fanbase.

Our offense didn't show up and was swinging for the fences every time instead of playing small ball when we needed to.

Sounds like they froze up actually playing in a real venue in front of a half-arse crowd.... Prayers sent

So happy to hear your feelings weren't hurt. You know that is the big focus of these baseball regionals, making sure opposing teams & their fans are made to feel good about themselves, even in defeat. All the LSU fans will be signing a big sympathy card at the main gates this afternoon, sending our condolences to your team for over-looking SHS & saving your staff ace for a game against LSU that won't even be happening. And since you're giving grammar lessons between y'all's game, can you give us the rule for the word "Gotta"? Thanks in advance & please enjoy your day, we LSU fans woke up this morning with the eternal hope that no ulala jimmies will be rustled today.

Never understood the corndog thing. My family and i have been going to all LSU games for 30 years and i've never eaten a corndog and never saw anyone tailgating eating a corndog...i really don't care, just wondering where that came from.

It's dumb shite... and it's that we smell like corndogs not that we eat them at tailgates.

It came from some fans at Oklahoma or Auburn or some place saying that their rivals fan base smelt like corndogs. Had nothing to do with LSU initially. Someone flipped it and through LSU in the saying and the rest is history. I've always thought it was pretty unoriginal. If there is any fans you could claim smell like food, we would be high on the list, but corndogs would be the last thing that came to mind as far as food is concerned.

Oklahoma fans called Nebraska fans corndogs because of the Nebraska association w/corn! Some
lazy dumb arse Auburn fan flipped it to us & it caught on w/their fan base.

The irony is that LSU tailgating is praised by the SEC & national media as having not only the best, but the most unique food anywhere. LSU is
also known for it's generosity w/food & drink!
The real catch is that you know that corndogs
are a much bigger treat @ Auburn, not to mention
a host of other SEC schools. Bama, MSU, OM to name a few!

Of course, this "insult" makes no sense, and so is no insult at all. When you calmly explain this to opposing fanbases they gleefully claim they've now annoyed you, and so it's a great insult. As Richard Pryor once said, it's like trying to talk to a Baboon's arse.
