re: LSU fans are an embarrassment

LSU going 6-4/7-3 is perfectly fine and acceptable.

LSU going 2-8, giving up 620+ yards passing while the QB sets records, then that team goes 20 straight possessions without scoring a point, giving up nearly 600 yards to a team that barely had 600 yards in two previous games...that is unacceptable. God knows what is in store for us now that the east part of our schedule is over.

The DC is making over $2 million. The "kids" are getting a free ride to play a sport, get publicity to make the NFL, be the coolest dudes on campus and get any chick they want. They're celebrities and enjoy all the best things LSU has to offer. People say "Damone Clark, you're playing soft and not downhill or making a single impact play"...and fans are the ones who are children. How about you play harder. Jacoby Stevens, how about you not jog after the RB as he scores ANOTHER long TD to tie the game.

Maybe the players should have some accountability, and the coaches absolutely should. Why should LSU fans be ok with this embarrassment but Clemson wouldn't be, Alabama wouldn't be...we want to be less than them?

When was the last time Saban lost 30 players then had to rely on the 15th ranked recruiting class from two seasons ago for starters?

Everything you just posted is absolutely no excuse for the defense being historically bad. I’m still a die hard as I’m sure most are but we are allowed to be pissed off after that embarrassment. I’m sure the players feel the same.

In my post I said there were legitimate questions about the defense. I’m no less disappointed than any of you. But I’ve read ridiculous stuff over the last 24 hours. It goes far beyond normal and deserved criticism, to throwing the whole team, coaches, and program under the bus. For the record, I don’t think Ed O should be fired. I can’t believe this even has to be said.
