LSU fans afraid of success...

The LSU fans, students, and alumni DESERVE better than what they have been getting from the coaching staff. But many fans cannot bring themselves to believe this because of an odd sense of self-loathing they still hold onto. Nick Saban sensed this inherent in the culture around the state and school and coined it "Catastrophe Syndrome."

It seems many fans have regressed.

So, here's the prescription, repeat several times throughout the day:

"It's perfectly ok to strive for excellence and attain the commensurate rewards for doing so"

And

"We deserve excellence because we have the talent, the facilities, the fans, the support -- the system -- that justifies it."
