While I like the enthusiasm and positive thoughts, I’m not sure about dominating over Bama.

I think LSU wins. We're no longer under the incubus of proven losers like Miles and O who were beaten by the very presence of Bama and Saban.

I'm not in awe at all of the Tide this year, and they could very well have three losses, including a home ding v lowly Texas A&M.

I am just hoping to get to halftime with a close game. If we are close at the half I like our chances. The crowd took over in the 4th quarter of both the Ole Miss and the MSU game.

We never dominate Bama. The best team in college football history could not dominate Bama. I've come to want a win and never would expect domination.

False. Clemson dominated Bama in the 2018 NC, played in 2019. Believe they beat them by about 30. Clemson scored right off the bat, and then Tua threw a pick 6, or vise versa. It was an arse whipping. Funny thing is, they beat BK to get to Bama that year. I remember Ross or Higgins had two or three phenomenal catches against ND that year.

This is actually the first time in a long time I think it's even possible we blow them out.
I went into the 2019 expecting a solid LSU win, and we were up 31-13 at half. THAT was our chance to blow them out. Joe was off his game in the third quarter, missing wide open receivers, and Stingley looked like Sting out there.

If Stingley and Burrow played as they normally did, in the third quarter, we beat Bama by 20 points in that game.

This year? The chances of a LSU blowout of Bama are about 1 in 50. The chances of Bama blowing out LSU are about 1 in 3.

Ole Miss was a pass attack team. We handled them with speed and quickness. Bama's going to be a different beast. Run, run, run setting up the pass. We MUST be stout against their rushing attack.

Have you watched the SEC this year? Ole Miss was the leading rush attack in the conference. They were like 75:25 run, pass ratio. Our entire game plan was to stop their rushing attack.

Yeah. We were definitely better in 2019, but Bama was way better in 19 than they are now. I’m not sure anyone was blowing that Bama team out, even with how good LSU was.

This year, Bama has looked very mortal at times.

Ole miss has more rushing yards per game than passing

You have a point there.

I think we can and will win a close game, but this game has zero to do with it. Bama with a healthy Bryce Young vs Bama with no Bryce young are completely different teams. It would be like us playing Florida or Auburn in 2019 with Brennan instead of Burrow

I personally don’t think we will. I think they have too much talent top to bottom and a Bryce-led Bama doesn’t lose easily. I can’t see our secondary holding up. We’d have to play the perfect game and our special teams has had a blunder in nearly every game.
