If you donate to TAF or support LSU athletics in any way, you are a booster. LSU doesn't have any super rich alumni willing to bankroll these coaching payrolls like other schools do.

I keep seeing posts about when are the boosters gonna get fed up. Well, by the looks of tRant, they are fed up! Get your heads out of your asses baws! Other schools, especially a&m, have big time money guys. LSU does not. That's why F.King and Alleva feel untouchable. The only person that can get rid of them is the governer. There aren't any influential donors who can single handedly apply the pressure. We all must make our voices heard

There aren't as many as other schools, and it seems the ones with money aren't that ready to fork it over to the room full of idiots who would blow it on bad decisions. Understandable.

Exactly. LSU has wealthy alumni but they are keeping their money far away from this clown show. Certainly can't blame them.

LSU has a ton of high rollers that are low-key types you never heard of.

But like people above said it seems no one wants to invest in the program right now.

I think a lot of them are beginning to give up, which will force the hand of F. King (Alleva doesn't need the Gov. to fire him) first, and then the Governor (though I don't really see the current administration having the nuts to make that move - and screw Jindal for not doing anything, as well). LSU has the money - maybe not as much as some, but they have enough.

Oh, there's a couple...

Yes, and that, too.

Being a wealthy alumni does not make you a "booster." That's the whole point. "boosters" use their donations to buy influence over the program. If a wealthy alumni couldn't give to shits about lsu football then they aren't a booster. And without influential boosters, Alleva and f. King can operate unchecked. The governer will never get involved because it's a bad look for the governer to be concerning himself with college athletics

LSU’s “boosters” are just as incompetent as FKA and JA or else we wouldn’t be here right now.

I don't feel comfortable sharing that type of information about family friends. But trust me, we have wealthy boosters. And you do realize that A&M is just rich as frick right?

Hahaha... If you honestly think this, then I can't help you, as you're either not that intelligent, or just naive and refuse to research and find things out on your own. Either way, I'm out.

We have some ultra rich alumni. If I'm in their shoes there is no chance I am throwing money at the current leadership we have.
