Keep in mind who we have played. This is not good when you think of who we will play in the next 8 weeks. 7 SEC teams r ranked ahead of us. We all know LSU has the players, this is all coaching.

The defense will improve if/when they aren't on the field for 86 plays...i.e., if/when the running game improves.

Any ranking related to college football this early in the season is 100% crap.

As horrible as we were last year on defense, we were still ranked in the 30s nationally.

The players are in position a majority of the time. If they will wrap the hell up or make a smart play instead of going for the big one, this would be better.

gtfo with your useless stats.

You have to use something static to gauge teams by. This is the best way. They may be slanted, but LSU should be on the positive side because of the weak teams they have played. they have had better players then all the teams they have played.

Okay... and they have also played a harder schedule than a lot of teams out there. Say, maybe 48 of them?

If you believe that the schedule up to now has been that hard, then you dont have a clue. GET ANOTHER PAST TIME.

Yes, because Washington, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State are much easier teams that Charleston Southern and Florida International...
