Now you stop that! We're being told by people on this board that our D is awful and then you come on here and say otherwise. And then on top of that, you use rankings? Shame on you, can't you just let people believe we suck?

Some people...

Did anyone else notice last night that the 1st D dominated, which they should. Every time we got up by 2 possessions we put in the 2nd guys in the front 7. Thats when EM moved the ball. I'm good with our 1's ,quality of depth is an issue.
1st front 7 > 1st group of DB's tho

State, Auburn, Syracuse and EMU. I assume you're taking a jab at our schedule. You do know that most teams' schedules get tougher as the year goes on right? Lots of stats get padded in the first few games. We are actually missing one of those stat padding games.

Very true. Depth scares me. We must stay healthy. Need Mills back badly

There is a huge drop off when Jones/Beckwith leave the game. Not saying everything is fundamentally sound, but we are much better.

The jury is still out on LSU. Four opponents who are not that good, with less than stellar results. This Saturday's contest with S. Carolina won't change the perception of the team's strength. We'll know more in two weeks after the Florida contest.
