you take away the WVU game and our defensive numbers look like Alabama's

Pass Defense w/o WVU:

Bama: 129 ypg
LSU: 135 ypg

Scoring Defense w/o WVU:

Bama: 7.1 ppg
LSU: 9.5 ppg

Good post. The WVU anomaly was a product of the soft zone but also several uncharacteristic missed tackles. We won't see that again this season.

This would mean that we would have to win the toss in every single game.

I think it is a product of both offense and defense making halftime adjustments and dominating their opponents in the 3rd quarter.
