Crazy, i remember jogging by this house all the time when they were building it, when i was at LSU in the early 90s.. used to daydream about buying it if i ever won the lottery, looked like a dream home and location… never thought that one day the future LSU head coach would live in it.. also never dreamed we’d win 3 Nat’l football titles between then and now.. back then we were a basketball school !

But yeah, i think id want a lot more privacy if i were such a high profile person like BK .

The house and yard look so different now, it makes you wonder why the most recent owners didnt just do a complete teardown and rebuild, instead of remodeling a home built in 1991 .

Yeah, I think I’d want a bit more privacy if I were Kelly.

There was nothing on the market down Highland that was off the road a little way?

Not as close as Miles’s stabbin cabin though

Coach O’s was equally close, on the other side of campus from Miles’s, in the condo development across Stanford from the lakes.

I guess BK decided to go all-in near campus, and buy a whole house instead of just a condo .

With the amount of money we signed him for,he needs Credit???? I think he could just buy the whole lake.

He doesn't "need" credit. Money is basically free to borrow now as interest rates are a lot lower than the rate of inflation. Borrow as much as you can.

With his salary don’t think he can afford trees or any landscaping.

That’s a nice home. And a much smarter purchase than Riley’s Scarface cartel mansion.

Back in the day people on that side of the lake would call the cops when we cranked up our speakers on Friday afternoons.

My time at LSU overlapped w/Shaq.. saw him shatter a few backboards in person, and camped outside for 3 nights for the game vs #1 Duke.. not saying baseball wasnt big then, but basketball was more popular .
