Interesting that when we were winning, fans thought - thank God for Cameron. Miles must have given him the reigns. We lose and fans automatically think Miles is back in the way/play calling. With no proof or evidence of such.

Absolutely. There is not one single thing Les can do in the course of the game that will benefit LSU. Practice, Pre-game, offseason, recruiting, etc. he can possibly be beneficial to the Tigers. During the game against Alabama? He needs to stay in BR.

Maybe not so far, but Jimbo wasn't too pleasant about Miles when he left for FSU...and Crowton was even more vocal...I can promise stud was never given full reigns

Still intrigued to see what the guy who said this has to say about how Miles cost us the game last year...

Or for that matter anyone who believes this statement to be true.

This X 1000.

Even though we were beating up on cupcake teams, the offense was humming along nicely up until the Florida game. Since then, it's become more predictable and has struggled to move the ball at times against bad teams. I'd love to see a return to the creativity we saw in the beginning, multiple WR sets, involving the TE and RB in the passing game, more play action, etc. The defense isn't going to be able to stop Bama, so we will need to take advantage of every chance we have to put points on the board.

UF is not a bad defense. No matter how bad you want to argue that it is.

We had the third most yardage in the history of LSU on Saturday.

So, basically we have struggled to move the ball against one team that is bad?

Mizzou exposed them. Let's not pat ourselves on the back too much.

The offense is not the issue. Our front 7 cannot stop anyone. We cannot get off the field. This is going to miraculously fix itself against the best team in the country.

Was Ole Miss a good team? We couldn't do much in the 1st half against their 2nd string defense.

What about them? can their defense stop an offense with a pulse?

*Waiting on Ole Miss response*

Can you not read? I literally just said that we struggled to move the ball once against a team that is bad. Florida is good and we didn't struggle to move the ball in the least bit against Furman. So we struggled to move the ball against one bad team (Ole Miss).

Do you need to ask me one more time if Ole Miss was a good team or not?

the defense 2-minute drill cost us last year...we were winning until the last 2:00 of the game which the defense spent 90% of that time on the field...

Correct. That is exactly the point I just made. Someone saying how bad our offense has struggled the last three games was just stupid. Offense is not and has not been the problem all season with the exception of the first half against Ole Miss.

UF had one bad game defensively. That doesn't mean they were "exposed". Bama gave up 42 to A&M and have now given up like 17 points in their last 4 SEC games. Make no mistake. UF is by no measurement bad on defense.

Yeah, no one can disagree that we have had SIGNIFICANT issues getting off of the field on third down this season.

If you are being serious, please explain how exactly Miles cost us the game against Bama last year. Please.

The fake field goal on 4th and long
The 4th and 1 play call with Spencer Ware
Attempting the field goal to go up 6 instead of going for it

I love Les Miles and his resume speaks for itself, but I am dead serious. Did he have the team ready to play, especially in the 2nd half? You bet. But he made some bone-headed decisions in that football game.
